The String Archestra
The String Archestra is a classical string orchestra whose main concern is to perform works by BIPocC composers. The orchestra was founded in Berlin in 2016 and currently consists of 14 musicians. At the CLINCH Festival, the String Archestra will present works by the Venezuelan composers Teresa Carreño (1853–1917) and Aldemaro Romero (1928–2007) as well as chamber music by the Afro-Americans Florence Price (1887–1953) and Anthony R. Green (* 1988). The concert is framed by an introduction and a follow-up discussion.
