Working with queer migrants is important, but not supposed to cost anything

Organizations and initiatives of queer BIPoCs are often told by different educational institutions, that their work is essential for the process of raising awareness and education of the majority society. At the same time their work is not valued appropriately: Educational work in this field is welcome and seems more necessary than ever, but it is supposed to be as low-priced as possible. It is also mainly white and doesn‘ t sufficiently involve BIPoCs and their realities.

In this workshop we share experiences and discuss about claims and perspectives of intersectional educational work.
