Semra Ertan: My name is foreigner

In her poems, Semra Ertan describes her life and experiences in Germany. To this day she stands for generations of people who are still invisible and unheard. Her topics are suffering, anger and love, hope and friendship, social equality, the courage to stand up, interacting with and treating one another more humanely.

The poems will be read in German and Turkish by Cana Bilir-Meier and Zühal Bilir-Meier, niece and sister of Semra Ertan.

Moderator: Taudy Pathmanathan

This event will be held in German spoken language and translated into German Sign Language.
